Long time no see everyone! O_____O

Just came back from Kawaii Kon '08, and had a blast. Didn't take pictures though... But we had an artist alley table this year, and we've already pre-reg'ed for next year! And. The main point of this journal:

What kind of prints would you like to see?

'Cause the person across from us (cutemew! ) was totally awesome and hardcore and had a ton of prints and posters and badges and... @____@ It was crazy. And I think I'll try to be UBER HARDCORE next year! *was uber not-hardcore this year* >>;; But that requires me starting reeeeeeally early... >.< so yeah. To get all those prints, I mean. I'm already set on doing Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (even though no one seems to know what it is... "ORE WA DARE DATO OMOTTE YAGARE?!") and... that's about it. XD Bleach, maybe, and Naruto?

Hope you all are doing well! Mom's shooing me out the door, so I gotta go to school now, but mata ne! I'll try to be more active!

10 things about my art:

1. ummmm... When i draw with the tablet, I use the undo key like, every five seconds. -___-||

2. I fall in and out of love with styles all the time -- I still haven't been able to settle on one style. Thus, no dramatic improvement. :< I had been looking at clamp's work for a while, but emi (you butt) had to go and draw that gorgeous 104 pic... and I was like: OOOOH EMI ART SO PRETTY *IMITATE UNCONSCIOUSLY* And I switched styles again. XD;

3. Although my style seems to gravitate toward generic eyes that take up half the face, I really love the more... stylistic styles? *FAIL* I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT. :< Like junko and mutt and ~porkbun (i think?). :<< And clamp's xxxholic. Hm.. yeah.

4. I... really can't draw boobs. ;^;

5. My last art teacher thought I was hopeless. >__<

6. There are a lot of floating eyes and noses in my sketchbooks~ They take up the whole page. :"D

7. I start with the eyes in a pic. XD; If I start with the structure of the body, I end up screwing it up by drawing the eyes in the wrong place.

8. last year, I bought about ten copics. so far, I've used them twice.

9. I always draw the same hairstyles. XD And I fail at spiky hair -- OH LORDY and hats. :<

10. I... *tries to think of something inspirational and shit* i like drawing pretty boys more than girls. ;.;

Phew! I finally got my gallery all cleaned up. I wanted to delete them all (except for the lines I just colored, because I really like Syu's lines), but I ended up only deleting old ones because I didn't want to have to submit more. T______T

I got to meet (we didn't get to chat for long. ;^; *CLING*), (URAHARARARARAAAA~~~ I SHOWED HIM TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHEN I GOT BACK, AND WAS LIKE: SEEEEE~~~ URAHARAAAA~~ *squee* XD), and (>0< YEY~ Fun times, fun times! XD AND I SHOWED RITSUKA OFF TOO!! 8DDD), and (♥ HER ART IS SOOOOOOO SOSOSO PRETTY! ... And she's so cute!), (dA) (THANKYOUFORTHEDRAWINGINMYSKETCHBOOK!!!! >0<, and I even saw , , and ! *0* I AM IN AWE OF THEIR GOD-LIKE SKILLS. Everything was just so fun! >0<

And I commissioned several artists~~~ X3 Waiii~ And when we finally found the doujinshi on the THIRD day, there were almost no good ones left. T_____T But I got my hands on an IchiIshi one and a PoT one~ ♥ THANK GOD THE GUY NEXT TO ME AT THE GAIA PANEL TOLD ME ABOUT THE BOOTH. (I was peeking over his shoulder at this INCREDIBLE-looking Death Note one. Seriously - I had to wait to ask him where he found the doujinshi because I wasn't sure if it was some blown-up version of the actual manga! :<

*SPARKLESPARKLE* AND I TOTALLY GOT A POSTER WITH ATHRUN AND SHINN ON IT. LOOKING TOTALLY AWESOME. I look at it once, and my day is just that much more beautiful~~~~ XDDD And I got a bunch of xXxHolic stuff - or as much as I could get my hands on - but my pride and joy would have to be that poster~ I made sure it had both Doumeki AND Watanuki on it~ *3*

I took tons of pics - but on the third day, at the Bleach gathering, the camera managed to both fill up and die. DAMN YOU, CAMERA! :<<< And I didn't get to meet or or or , or tons of the other artists here on dA... GRAAARRR... I didn't get Atsuko Nakajima's autograph either... ;___; But... I did get another autograph that made this trip TOTALLY worth it. *still can't believe it*

I met Aimee and Sonya (sp?) while we waited in the room, and there was a Sora with GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS hair, and an awesome outfit in front of us. He- he was so CUTE!! *3* I wanted to glomp him!!! XD; He caught me fangirling, and he was all like, shy smile and laugh. OMG! >0< I even asked him if I could take a pic after the thing was over. ♥♥

Oh - and the masquerade. The pre-show TV stuff was SO HILARIOUS! XD Yeah. TOTALLY diarrhea, yo~ My favorites were the D.Gure one, the true power of the Clow, and It's still good~ ♥ Go find them on Youtube and watch them! >0< AHHHH~~~ I WANT TO GO BACK SO BAD! ;^;

Ooh... and I am now completely broke.
PoT gathering was SO CRACK! XD Tezuka-buchou was late, Inui had crazy-looking Inui-juice, and everyone was totally fun and crazy~ ♥
